I must've missed where I made that argument. But if you care to compare Izzo's timeline at MSU to Beilein who was at Richmond and WVU during the same tenure, at least control for expectations. Izzo has been phenomenal at making the Final Four. Once there he has a terrible record, however, which should probably be noted.
In the last 5 years, Beilein has more conference titles, a better record head to head, more players picked in the 1st round of the draft, and the only appearance in the title game of either of them.
Izzo used to do a lot better than Beilein, though he used to have a lot more talent to work with. Now that they are on equal footing with talent, Beilein has gotten better results.
