After a shaky start the O line played a dominant game, especially on pass pro. It's no coincidence that Shea started to click once the OL settled in. Shea had one really poor decision on the INT. Otherwise, he was accurate, efficient and extended plays. Charbonnet ran tough, giving us just enough run game to keep their D honest. DPJ dropped a pass over the middle on third down that would have kept a drive alive with a 1st down in PSU territory, and the offensive PI blown call on the long completion to Collins denied us a red zone possession. Shea made first half plays that didn't count.
This one is over. We'll tear our hair out over the mistakes, the big plays, the handful of plays that were pivotal, but the real analysis is whether we've taken a step forward, whether we've turned a corner as JH keeps promising.
