I see several ads for "free" solar panels as I make my way around the interwebs.
I usually write these things off, but I'm a bit curious...
Has anyone in the Fort used a program (I'm in Michigan) to put solar panels on their house that has been inexpensive or free? If so, what was your experience like? What are the ramifications?
I'm interested in pursuing it for the energy savings, power reliability, and for the green aspect.
