Help me welcome a new partner of TheWolverine.com, Adam Goldman, owner of FranchiseCoach.net:

Adam’s love of Michigan began when he chose the Fab Five to win the NCAA title in his dad's March Madness pool. Everyone thought he was crazy, but the Wolverines ended up going to the championship game and Adam won the pool.

In 2010, Adam engaged a franchise coach to explore a few options out of the 4,000 brands in 75 industries. He chose an office cleaning concept which he was able to build to 400 buildings cleaned in the Houston area and 40 franchisees. Adam recently sold the business to a strategic buyer.

For the past four years, Adam has helped prospective franchisees navigate the complex world of franchising. His FREE SERVICE helps them narrow their focus down to the three brands that best match them. His process saves his clients a lot of time by allowing them to focus their search on brands that they otherwise wouldn’t consider but match them the best.

"My Dad came home from his corporate job drained daily and he would have really benefited as a franchisee,” Adam said. "He has great management and people skills, he just needed a simplified process around him to become an entrepreneur. I get excited every day helping prospective business owners escape Corporate America and to follow their dreams by becoming franchisees.”

Here are tonight's Blue Chips...

*** Michigan dipped down into Arkansas this week and extended an offer to three-star 2022 Fayetteville (Ark.) High wide receiver Isaiah Sategna. While he's only a 5.5 recruit, Sategna has been one of the hottest names on the trail as of late and should see his stock boom this offseason. After all, Sategna is one of the fastest recruits in the nation, holding multiple Arkansas state track records. Stagena also has great bloodlines. His father is the track coach at Arkansas and his mother competed for Jamaica in the 1992 Olympics. Arkansas is the team to beat early on, but Michigan offensive coordinator Josh Gattis extended the offer, and his speed in space offense should be intriguing for Sategna.

*** Gattis and Michigan also put an offer on the table for three-star 2022 Gladewater (Texas) High wide receiver DJ Allen. Right now, Allen is a bit of a sleeper, but he's starting to garner some attention. Shortly after the Michigan offer, Allen notched scholarships from Baylor and Houston to go along with New Mexico, SMU and UTSA. Allen is another track kid that Gattis saw as a fit for his speed in space concept. He ran a 10.87 100m as a sophomore and also competed in the 200m and high jump. A small-school prospect, Allen also plays baseball and basketball. I'm told by folks back in Texas that Allen is still raw, but he's athletic and super fast. Michigan should have a chance here after getting in early.

*** Michigan is no longer in the mix for three-star pass rusher Travious Lathan. The Miami (Fla.) Gulliver Prep product is listed as a wide receiver on Rivals and his weight is way off, but it doesn't matter as he left Michigan out of his Top 8. On a related note, Michigan is also out of it for three-star Mission Hills (Calif.) Bishop Alemany defensive tackle Damonic Williams. He notched a Michigan offer over the summer but committed to Cal.
