*** Both three-star Clayton (Ohio) Northmont safety Rod Moore and his father, Roderick, took to Twitter to reaffirm their commitment to Michigan. Moore has recently notched offers from Washington State and West Virginia and has continued to add interest from several other programs. Moore announced that he would be signing with Michigan during the early period, which is huge. Obviously, the Bob Shoop mystery series is still ongoing and stability questions have thrown recruiting in a flux, but as I wrote earlier this week, Moore wants to be at U-M. Michigan just had to clear some things up. Others will likely continue to push behind the scenes, but again, Moore's heart is with Michigan.

*** Moore wasn't the only commit that came out and confirmed that they would be signing with Michigan. Three-star East Lansing (Mich.) High wide receiver Andrel Anthony also made a public statement as rumors swirled about a big push from hometown Michigan State. An early enrollee, Anthony was going to put pen to paper on Dec. 16 either way, but it was nice to see him put a tweet out there. Yes, Mel Tucker and co. will continue to push the future and big wins over Michigan and Northwestern over these next two weeks, but Anthony is happy with his original decision despite all the question marks around the program.

*** Just a reminder, these are the guys slated to enroll early, which means they will also sign on Dec. 16: JJ McCarthy, Tavierre Dunlap, Cristian Dixon, Xavier Worthy (if he sticks), Greg Crippen, Giovanni El-Hadi, Andrel Anthony, Tristan Bounds, Quintin Somerville, Tyler McLaurin, Junior Colson, Branden Jennings and Tommy Doman.

*** That leaves Louis Hansen, Raheem Anderson, Kechaun Bennett, TJ Guy, Dominick Giudice, Jaydon Hood, Rod Moore and Ja'Den McBurrows as regular enrollees. I fully expect Giudice, Moore, McBurrows and Anderson to sign early. I plan on checking on Guy and Bennett this weekend, especially with the questions around Don Brown, who led the way in their recruitments. Hansen is likely but not a for sure. I do not expect Hood to sign at this time.
