*** Four-star 2020 Hamilton (Ariz.) wide receiver Brenden Rice will be making an unofficial visit to Colorado this weekend. As I wrote yesterday, I'm told Rice is loving the recruiting process. While signs still point to Michigan, this recruitment still has some steam to it. Rice might also make his way to Oregon. He hopes to make a decision in October.
*** In-state 2021 offensive tackle Caleb Tiernan will be making an unofficial visit to Michigan this weekend. Michigan is the heavy favorite for the Beverly Hills (Mich.) Country Day product, and the Wolverines should be able to land him if they make a strong push. Tiernan is an intriguing prospect with other offers from Central Michigan, Indiana and Iowa State.
*** Another offered in-state recruit making his way to campus this weekend is rising 2022 West Bloomfield (Mich.) athlete Michael Williams. Along with Michigan, Williams has offers in hand from Central Michigan and Maryland. Williams is listed as an outside linebacker, but he plays defensive end at the high school level and can also play fullback. Michigan is high on his mind early on.
*** Rising 2021 Elkart (Ind.) Central defensive end Rodney McGraw will be at Michigan for an unofficial visit this weekend. McGraw does not have an offer from Michigan, but he is a prospect the staff is evaluating. McGraw has offers from Indiana, Kansas, Purdue and a few others.
