He came out of high school with a Rivals rating of 5.2 (2-star) which I believe is the very lowest rating they have. He was offered scholarships by 6 schools . . New Hampshire, Delaware, William & Mary, Air Force, Old Dominion and Northwestern . . but elected to walk on at Michigan. Six years later, he is the starting center for one of the final 4 teams in the CFP. You just have to love stories like this!!
