I talked to a SEC official last week that I know. He said it did not look like a helmet to helmet hit on the replays provided to the Big12 group. But when they had the end of year SEC officials conference, there was an angle from the opposite end zone that clearly showed it was targeting. He also said three of the five Clemson offensive plays were apparent pick plays including the final play. But he said you couldn't see it until you watch the plays in super slow motion. The last play was a hold also. He also did say he would have called none of them in that situations presented to the officials.
