Because we were all fuming about the overturn strip fumble td. It’s 4th and 30 and we’re all thinking we should have the ball at midfield at worst… but it’s kinda a low line drive kick that ends up rolling probably 25 yards and we start around own 30. For the life of me I don’t understand why we don’t employ 2 returners in situations like this. One guy short and one deeper to prevent exactly what happened. We essentially run out of time because of the worse field position and had to settle for fg. If we score at td here the horrible call doesn’t even play a factor.
