Given the fact that man-ball is the foundation of Harbaugh’s offensive philosophy, I don’t understand why our offensive line recruiting and/or development have been so pedestrian. Man-ball could work, at least at the level of Stanford, but it’s nearly impossible without a dominant o-line.
I know we’ve had some unlucky breaks with injuries, particularly Newsome, but in year 4, to still have a below average offensive line is quite disappointing.
