I am glad he finished his M career making an impact at the end of the season in the BIG Playoff Title Game vs. MN and scoring a goal against Notre Dame. He scored critical goals in these games and finished with 13 points in his last 7 college games. Young kid, wish him well in his development and glad that Red was able to land him as a recruit and contribute offense to M's defense the last two seasons.

Yah, it was good work by both the Staff and Zach that he played here for 2 years, i.e., that the staff thought of, and persuaded him to, accelerate high school and enroll a year early. Funny, I was thinking while watching the games last weekend, that last year, in every game, the announcers would note that he was "the youngest player in college hockey," but this year I don't think I heard it mentioned once that he was only the age of a typical freshman.
