I totally get that losing these games is unacceptable but if we hire someone else and don’t absolutely nail it we could very well turn into nebraska/texas with no real hope of remaining in any national conversation. Think long and hard about who the alternative would be who would 100% go better than .700 in big 10 play and beat rivals with regularity. No doubt this loss is very much on Jim but my God how many fluky things happened just like 2015. It was comical. At least we are in the top 10 and have a prayer of competing with osu. And yes that is the case even if we are likely to lose to them again. It could be much much worse, and we arent a program that can afford another true whiff. Jim has been disappointing to say the least, but we are relevant and still a good team. Who is the savior that will make us elite without risking dropping us into irrelevance?
