44 years old with three kids. Was told on March 23 I had appendix cancer. I'm a 20 year cop in GR. Tough as nails right. Hit me like a ton of bricks. Was told by docs In GR I had a 50 percent chance to live a crap 5 years after having a 12 hour surgery.
Well I found a surgeon in Wash DC. THE PIMP! He thought he could get all the very advanced cancer that spread all throughout my abdomin. Stage Fkd!
Fly to DC, walk into surgery like a Boss. 12 hours later I have no spleen, appendix, gallbladder, 3.5 feet of my small intestine, my greater omentum, and some of my colon. Zipper from breast bone to top of my junk.
23 days in DC in the hospital.
Ct a few weeks ago showed no cancer but a suspicious area on the liver. Just got MRI of liver. No GD CANCER!!!!!
Had to share. Not looking doe sympathy. Can't wait to return to work like a Boss! Go blue. FYI. The fort got me thru those long ass boring hospital days! Thanks to all
