Men and women climb mountains. They do it for the fun and thrill of it. They go through trial, error, pain, and anguish to get to the summit. Some make it, some don’t, and some die trying.
But those who get to some of the highest peaks in the world get to the top and are excited and can see the world. But up there, you can go no farther, and regret having to go down. But, they look around and see the next mountain, that one is more challenging and higher from their perspective. So they move on a climb that next mountain.
Jim Harbaugh was on that mountain top. The NFL/LAC is the next mountain top. He just didn’t want to stay on the mountain he just climbed or fall down. It doesn’t mean he didn’t love UM or regrets going, just he is moving on to the next challenge.
