I have him ranked as the number three overall DB in the class of 2025. His team just won the 1M state title in Florida. As a freshman they were the 3A state champions. Florida changed their classification system this yearr, moving away from a straightforward 8A (largest schools) to 1A classification to a 4M to 1M, 4S to 1S, 4R to 1R system where M stands for metro schools (highly dense urban areas), S stands for suburban schools and R stands for rural schools. His school, Chaminade-Madonna, is a small catholic school in Broward County that is a state power at their level and produces a lot of blue-chip talent. They just won the state title last weekend but have a final game scheduled for tomorrow against national power Las Vegas Bichop Gorman. I would not be surprised if it is being televised and, if so, it would be a great chance to see Ewald in action.
