Well, for about two weeks straight it looked like we would play Notre Dame in Cincy. Not so fast. The tournaments have shaken up the middle of the Pairwise standings this weekend. Notre Dame got knocked out in two games and tumbled and we swept PSU and rose back to a tie for 6th. The Pairwise Probability Matrix has us at 100% in the tournament and a likely 7 seed. It looks like we will catch one of the following teams in the first round:

Boston U
Mass-Lowell
Yale
Harvard

It will be interesting to see if we remain in Cincy at this point.

I think a lot hinges on whether Minnesota wins next weekend or not.

If they win, they host and get the short travel, and we won't go there. If they lose, well, who knows.

If we win, I think it's safe to think we will get the shortest travel- which is Cincinnati.

Lots of hockey to be played, and lots of movement possible.

There's actually not too much movement possible now, UM will be 7th or 8th, and will play one of BU/Yale/Lowell/Harvard as the 9 or 10. Now they could move things for attendance or to avoid intraconference matchups.

Agreed. The Pairwise predictor is up and running now. The teams we have mentioned are the only possible match-ups now (unless the Committee changes them). There is only one scenario that can drop us to a 10 seed, but we still catch one of those 4 teams as a matchup.

I would not be thrilled being shipped to St Paul!

I still think we catch only one of the; 4 teams mentioned above with a higher probability of Mass-Lowell or Boston U.
