Reportedly our children have a Google doc they share with recipes and our son held a dinner party last night. That prompted me to ask our daughter on our walk what she would make if she had friends over for dinner.
My favorite menu that I can remember was not ambitious but good. The appetizers were grilled shrimp kabobs wrapped in prosciutto, we had beef tenderloin with grilled polenta squares finished with parmesan cheese, and grilled vegetables including grilled asparagus. Summer salad with fresh fruit. Creme brûlée with fresh fruit for desert.
