Ticket packages for basketball went on sale today for donors to the athletic department and I think they'll go on sale to the public on 9/23. I did this for football and it worked out well. I tried doing it for basketball and it was tough to find tickets. For basketball, it's a "1-2-3" deal where you have to pick one game from Tier 1 (MSU, OSU, IL)....two games from the rest of the B10 games we play and 3 games from the non-conference games. When I couldn't find a solid choice (this may be because I'm ranked 29,000 out of 60,000 members), I thought "heck, let's check out the "premium" options" and called the Athletic Department. There are several packages you pay a decent amount of money for but you get good seats and other benefits. Well...those are all sold out for the upcoming basketball and hockey seasons! Looks like I'll be shopping on StubHub! I guess it's good to be popular.
