I'm sure there was discussion on this yesterday that I missed, have never seen that happen before.
Still not convinced it was a legal play and I know I former NFL ref said it wasn't.
Looked like he passed the LOS but short of the first down before getting pushed back and having the ball ripped back by the QB.
It clearly wasn't intent by the RB to hand it off, feel like if that was flipped and it was Kansas on offense it gets overturned in a second.
I really think as long as they have a replay official for each game that they should centralize it like MLB does.
Way too much plausible deniability by the conference to "apologize" for a call like the Minnesota OSU game, but a central review team would put things squarely on the conference.
