Just did a quick look at what the top schools are for endowments
Michigan 17.9 billion as of 2022
Alabama 1.09
LSU 650 million
Georgia 1.9
Ole Miss 850 million
OSU 7.4 billion
ND 17.8 billion

My point is the northern schools could easily once NIL can be paid through the schools outbid all the south combined. Michigan can take $1 b and fund NIL forever. We can also crown fund for other things. This is notnjust football this is all sports. Like to see the girls teams get something from NIL as well. Obviously not as much as football but something. If Michigan wants to it can dominate NIL. We need a younger voice who has connections with boosters and can have a creative mind for this.

Still also believe the football program needs to be separate from the athletic department. It's to big of an operation for the AD. Have one erson work just on football. Let the AD worry about the other sports. Both people report to Ono and the Regents. They work together but they are separate parts of the athletic department. Pay a person a million bucks to run it. Michigan has the money. Especially with these new TV deals.
