Michigan became the first Power 5 school and first Big Ten school to offer Bell this week, who entered the fall season with interest from UMass and Northern Iowa. It's been confirmed that Bell and his family will travel to Ann Arbor on an official visit for the Penn State game on October 15th. As a quarterback for Kansas City (Mo.) Park Hill, the younger brother of Ronnie Bell has thrown for 710 yards and ten touchdowns along with 168 rushing yards. Michigan views Bell as an athlete with options being laid down for him to continue at quarterback or switch over to wide receiver or defensive back. This is a committable offer as Jim Harbaugh called to deliver a full-ride opportunity. Unless other Power 5 programs enter the mix these next three months with enticing offers, the Wolverines are the clear frontrunners. It wouldn't be surprising if Bell commits on the spot during his official visit.
