Have heard that the phones have been ringing with people reaching out about the head coaching vacancy. It's a hot commodity, one of the best, if not THE best, jobs in college hockey right now.
From what I am hearing, one current head coach has reached out to Michigan directly about the job. A representative of another collegiate head coach has also reached out. I don't want to name names just now because things are still very much in the preliminary stages and names have not been considered.
Brandon Naurato, current assistant coach, wants his name considered for the job as well. I think he will.
