Explain what they actually do.

I'm interested in more than the ethics of suspending or not suspending players that occasionally violate team conduct.

I'm curious if it means landing several 5-stars a year by paying big money to the player's influencers? I cant imagine 25k in cash sways someone to attend one school over another. I imagine it would have to be serious 6 figures.

If the narrative being spun is they will win at all cost because Ohio State didn't suspend a player, or because they smartly hire assistants to develop game plans all year long, then I don't feel that edge is so difficult to overcome.

If it's paying 6 figures to secure 5 top 50 guys every year, so that any given roster has 15-20 said players (that they would not otherwise have) then that's a serious problem to overcome.

I'm sure most on this site would love to hear from those that really know the system, which scenario we are dealing with.

Thanks in advance for any insight.
