I got a job offer in Palm Springs, CA, they are not paying any moving expenses and the salary is $17k less. I want this opportunity but seems like I’m giving up to much to move west. HR people how do I convince them to meet me 1/2 on salary? They know what I make here, but my cost of living will increase. It’s CA not south Florida. Please help if you can as the final offer after finger prints and background checks is a week or 2 away.
