My good news is the recruiting train continues to roll on. Every week we are bringing on new talent. I firmly believe we are back to reload mode. It's been a long time, but I'm glad it's here.
We celebrated my mom and stepdad's 60th wedding anniversary on Sunday. We had a wonderful time, and the whole family showed up to honor them. The restaurant provided a private room for us, and it was a great day. My stepdad's been in my life for 60 years, and I have to say, I hit the jackpot. I had a good relationship with my biological dad, but he was never as interested in my life as my stepfather has been. He has truly blessed me.
I've finally found my way back to the gym. What a nightmare the first week was. Since Covid, my only exercise has been my bike. That's a great exercise, but more is needed. I can't believe how weak I am. I'll be relieved when the initial soreness wears off, and I start making some gains. The older I get, the harder it is. The good news is, I'm back in there.
I can't complain. Life is good.
