I see so much nitpicking now on every aspect of a kid's life, from the time he becomes a D1 prospect, which could be as early as the 6th grade, until his eligibility ends. What's he thinking today? Did he get enough to eat? Is he homesick? There must be a lot of pressure on these kids, to know that thousands of fans are watching their every move, and monitoring all their thoughts and feelings. No wonder some parents come on the message boards to see what folks are saying about their children. Are these kids getting too much scrutiny?
