Wow, that is interesting. I don't want to react so strongly as to say stars don't matter, but anecdotal evidence such as this might suggest that there really isn't a massive difference between 3-5 star recruits. Other factors, such as work ethic, on field motor, intelligence, love for the game, etc might be more significant that the overall star ranking,
