Cheese-Its or Cheese Nips?

Good for Phil because that means squat. Geez, u guys have quickly forgot how a dropped punt by Blake O'neil put you in your current position. MSU is no where near the team they were last year. U will get smoked in the playoffs IF you beat Iowa
If the fumbled punt that went for the winning TD happened in the first quarter of that game, are you even mentioning it? Hey, if MSU had not used its backup punter, it never would have come down to the last play. 400 yards to 230. 20 first downs to 10.

As for what will happen to MSU in the playoffs, well, they are healthy has they have been all season. Ask OSU. 132 yards of offense. 5 first downs. 45 total offensive plays. In Columbus. Ask PSU. 55-16.

MSU is 6-1 in its last 7 games v top ten opponents. Hopefully soon to be 7-1. MSU does not s--t the bed in big games.

Cali Green!!!! The Buckeyes are the better team and they do have a better coaching staff than MSU (Urban Myer vs Dantonio-come on???????) You did win on the field and I will give you that one BUT your entire fan base including Dantonio should send Blake O'Neil a MASSIVE Christmas gift for placing you in Indianapolis Saturday night. His mistake is WHY you are there or Myer would be there once again.

Meyer's a great coach, no doubt. A few things:

1) I was mainly poking at the Buckeye that keeps insisting MSU wasn't really better (you're apparently in agreement with him on this point), but that it was OSU coaches' incompetence in not giving Elliott the ball more (based on his tremendous 33 yards in 12 carries).
2) In the last 3 seasons, OSU is 24-2 in Big Ten games (including BTCG) with both of those losses to MSU; MSU is a similar 23-2 with Saturday's game upcoming.
3) And yes, I'll say it - a Christmas cards should go out to Blake and also one to Jim Harbaugh for sending 5 Wolverines (2 gunners, and 3 linemen) downfield so that they weren't there to recover the muff, or tackle Watts-Jackson.
4) Curious if you're sending Christmas cards to the Minnesota and IU staffs?

"your [sic] an idiot" LOL

Actually, I really don't care to argue with you either. You can continue to believe that OSU is the better team, with better players despite the results on the field. We actually agree on something - MSU does have better coaching than OSU!

So in the same regard does Nebraska have better players, a better team, and better coaching than MSU?

No Nebraska is not better than MSU in any aspect BUT Harbaugh and staff are better. They pieced together a team that was horrible last year and patched it together to out coach and beat Dicktonio despite the fluke in the end. Harbaugh has not even started yet in Ann Arbor. Match up MSU recruiting class to Harbaugh's this year.

No, just as V Tech wasn't a better team last year than OSU.

But based on the overall season, the quality of the players on both teams (see Big Ten awards, etc) and yes, the head to head, and now back to being reasonably healthy, MSU is the better team in the Big Ten this year.

7-6 in 2012, MSU followed it up with B1G title in 2013 going 8-0 in B1G, then B1G title over Ohio State. Iowa was 7-6 in 2014 and has gone 8-0 this year in B1G. Time for a repeat, with Iowa over MSU with a rebound season?

peace

MSU's OL didn't reach full strength until a few weeks ago. In the UM game, Jack Allen was out, and MSU two starting OT's, Conklin and Keiler (sp?), were coming back from injury and were playing at perhaps 60%. MSU still managed close to 400 yards on a very good UM D, in Ann Arbor.

Starters don't play when their 60% and total yards are completely meaningless.

Cheese-itz in a landslide.

Actually, they do.

As for total yards, well, that usually means the O is moving the ball, AND keeping the D off the field. Under Dantonio, MSU has been great at that. All UM had to do was get a first down on its last possession and it would have been game over. MSU's D, still fresh, stuffed the UM O and forced the punt.

Year after year under Dantonio, MSU has been at the top of the conference in offensive plays run. MSU has also been at the top of the conference in allowing the fewest offensive plays by its opponents. That's the reason MSU is always strong in the fourth quarter and in November. MSU's D generally has less wear and tear than any other in the conference.

Or ... you could start your own thread, preferably on your own board
But it's so much fun getting another group of fans viewpoints on things. All fans are cool aide drinker to one extent or another. If you stick to just your own board, you hear the same propaganda over and over. I don't pay for the Fort, but the titles of the many, many MSU threads were quite different than the ones on the MSU sites. It's almost as though we watched different seasons.
