In watching the NFL playoff games so far, it appears that the coordinators on both sides of ball look to be 20-25 years younger than Jim Harbaugh. The oldest surviving head coach looked to be his brother. John. The rest of the playoff head coaches look like they’re 10–15 years younger than JH.
JH, Bill Belechick and Pete Carroll would increase that average, but so far at least, the old-timers are all unemployed.
What’s to be learned from that observation? I dunno, maybe not much.
