Not sure why I missed this announcement, but it was also announced at the banquet- 8 of the hockey team got Academic B1G honors-

Tony Calderone, So., undeclared, Trenton, Mich.
Cutler Martin, So., undeclared, East Lansing, Mich.
Zach Nagelvoort, Jr., sport management, Holland, Mich.
Sam Piazza, So., engineering, Darien, Ill.
Niko Porikos, So., undeclared, Ann Arbor, Mich.
Steve Racine, Sr., general studies, Williamsville, N.Y.
Justin Selman, Sr., sport management, Upper Saddle River, N.J.
Max Shuart, Jr., political science, Northville, Mich.

Of those, Justin Selman and Steve Racine are 3 time honorees. To be on that, players need to have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

And of those, we know that Sam Piazza- Mechanical Engineering- got the Carl Iassacson award for best student athlete.

Pretty cool.
