3 on 3 OT next year in the NHL?

What would you guys think of that to lessen the shootouts? I have to admit I kind of liked the shootout when it was first introduced, but starting to think it I would like to see less games decided this way.

think of a penalty in 3 on 3. Team would have a 3 on 2 sure would be a lot of room out there. Heck I would probably pull my goalie and go 4 on 2 then. Anyways link provided on idea.

Yes please, I favored the shootout when it was implemented and still favor it now, but it would be nice to have the number of OT games that go to shootouts severely reduced. Makes them more special and reduces the impact on where u r in the standings based on how well you do in what amounts to hockey's version of a home run hitting contest or a 3 point shooting contest.

Way to many OTs . I Iike the old fashioned ties = 1 point.


These OT games have to wear you down as the season goes along and the next day is a trip to another city. "74
