I am not sure I endorse this idea but felt it was worth thought/discussion on this board.
I feel Michigan continued to grow and progress as team through the Penn State game. Each week the team got better. After that, the last three games, their performance fell off. Players, units and team as a whole. Many reasons. Could this be one?
Strength and conditioning changed this year. The team, as I understand, continued to lift throughout the season. Not every team does this. Did this help? Did the team tire at the end of the season due to lifting and not resting more (as some programs do)? Were they worn out when they hit the field?
Something to consider. Thoughts?
