Wolverine Nation should want Iowa to defeat Nebraska Friday

If Penn State wins and Michigan wins "The Game"

It would be better for Michigan's chances in the CFB Playoff to play a 12-0 Iowa than a 11-1 Iowa.

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio State students know what needs to happen for the Buckeyes football team to get into the Big Ten Championship.

Ohio State needs to beat Michigan on Saturday, and needs Penn State to beat Michigan State. That gets the Buckeyes to Indianapolis. So at least for one week, Buckeyes fans should be cheering for Penn State.

That's what the students at Tuesday's basketball game between Ohio State and Louisiana Tech did, wearing shirts that spelled out "We Are Penn State."

I would love to be in the CFP, but for year 1 and with already 2 losses, even if we do get to the Big Ten title game and win it, it is still a longshot with 2 losses

I am more worried about keeping MSU out at all costs. I want Notre Dame and Oklahoma to win out as well as Alabama and others. MSU probably still gets in anyways if they win out, but if ND and Oklahoma win convincingly, it could keep things interesting.

Anyways, if Michigan wins and MSU loses, it is gravy and awesome to go to Indy. Any other outcome this Saturday, then I will be the biggest Iowa Hawkeye fan for at least 1 week to keep the hated Spartans or Buckeyes out of the CFP.

Disagree, We need Nebraska to win because our in to the CFP is a slash and burn strategy. Iowa loses to Neb and then beats MSU. Those two are gone. Stanford beats ND and then loses to USC/UCLA and those two are gone. We beat Ohio and they are gone. Ok St beats OK and Ok is gone. Baylor loses to TCU and has another game against Tex so they could lose either or both. My final 4 is UM/Ok St/Bama/ Clemsont

In that scenario okst would get in with 1 loss.

A 2 loss non conference champ isnt getting in period.

Exactly right except my scenario has almost everyone with two losses except Iowa.
Oklahoma- 10-2 and they drop below UM
Stanford- 10-3 and they drop below UM
ND-10-2 and they drop below UM
Baylor-10-2 and they drop below UM
Ok St. They go 11-1 and they pass UM into spot number 4
Bama-They win out and go to spot number-2
Clemson- They win out to spot No-1
My final top 10
1-Clemson-13-0
2-Bama 12-1
3-OK St.-11-1
4-UM-10-2
5-ND-10-2
6-OK-10-2
7-Iowa-12-1
8-OSU--10-2
9-MSU-11-2
10-NC-11-2
