I don't think you need to sell any QB on wanting to play for and be coached by Jim Harbaugh. We could have gotten just 2 WRs and we would still be in every QB conversation.

You still take 1 - JH is a big fan of depth at that position. In 2018 his roster will be Peters and McCaffery so having another good QB that can be a potential starter is critical.

You should take 1 every year for depth and competition. We don't need another Clappy fiasco where a guy gets hurt and the worst QB in the history of terrible QBs (Bellomy) has to play.

I think Bellomy has it locked up. In that Nebraska game, he went something like 4-16 with 3 or 4 INTs. Probably the worst performance at QB I've ever seen, at any level.

He did remind one of that private who was a writer in Saving Private Ryan that had to go back and get his helmet, swung his gun menancingly around at others, etc. I'm just glad Bellamy had a helmet on the right way. What a mess the quarterback position was under Hoke.
