I’m sure Shea Patterson reads the evaluations of his draft prospects and if they are reasonably close to what the NFL drafters are telling him, he may not be wise to declare for this year’s draft.
ESPN+ published an article, Ranking Every Bowl Quarterback By NFL Potential. Patterson was ranked as the 19th most attractive quarterback, suggesting he would benefit by continuing to learn the discipline of a pro-style offense under Harbaugh.
Granted that a lot if the quarterbacks rated are either not draft-eligible or not expected to declare this year a ranking this low, if accurate, doesn’t bode well for Patterson’s draft prospects should he declare this year.
Hopes are that Shea not be in too much of a hurry and polish his craft in Ann Arbir for another year.
