CMFT is unleashing the dawgs with the 3-4.
My thoughts:
1. Solves part of his DL dilemma. Naquon Jones will need less oxygen canisters at 400 pounds or whatever he is at now. He doesn't need to move anymore.
2. Their depth at DE is still an issue, but Panasiuk opted back in so they are only short one DE.
3. Now for the linebackers... They need 4 now. Or 3 + hybrid of some sort.
4. I only counted 1 1/2 who can play. So they need 2 1/2 guys to emerge, plus depth.
MSU in a 3-4 is like Michigan in the RR spread. Will be a big change if they do it. The good news is that Zoom is a powerful training tool and I expect their entire team to be up to speed.
Today is the 1st day in pads.
