I'll keep this fairly short because, well, I'm pissed and so I don't want to go on too long. lol
Have heard from several different sources that our quarterback has received via twitter and other social media outlets (perhaps places like this?) intensely negative messages and wishes for him to be benched, etc.
Well in my mind I'm thinking...Who the hell are people to tell a kid that he should be benched or that he "shouldn't wear the winged helmet?" (Yep he's heard that). I mean who the HELL do they think they are? They know better than Harbaugh or Pep? You wanna look in their eyes and tell them they don't know what they're doing?
And just what do these smart ass people hiding behind their computer screens think they are accomplishing? Are they going to put their ingenious sense into Harb's mind and "right the ship?" I mean seriously ... you know what it accomplishes? It potentially hurts a kid's feelings, confidence and psyche -- after working his ass off for Michigan.
Criticizing a player isn't off base in big time athletics, unless you belittle him and act like you know a whole lot more than the coaches on the team.
