"I think Urban Meyer will have to step his game up; we're going to have to talk," Cass Tech football coach Thomas Wilcher told Detroit Sports 105.1 on Friday. "He has come to my school and got the No. 1 athlete two years in a row.

"You cannot come over here, come up to the north and walk out of here with your pockets full and not give us respect.

"That's not gonna happen again, I can tell you that right now."

This will bite them at some point..integrity matters

"He wanted to go to Michigan. But he wanted to stay committed. He wanted show that he understands about commitment. His father is trying to teach him about commitment. His mother wants him to understand about commitment. And I think that's what he showed Ohio State in the end. But they at least supposed to show him the same type of courtesy also. That's my problem."

Not coming here to start a fight. What Weber is going through isn't right but it is what it is. If Weber is the player we think he is he will be fine. If the shoe was on the other foot and Harbaugh knew his assistant coach was leaving and told a top 50 recruit his position coach was leaving and said recruit committed elsewhere the Fort would be pissed. This is a bottom line business as far as college football goes. We can all talk about academics and who's school has the better degree but the reason we show our fandom is because of football. If Harbaugh knows a position coach is leaving and tells a prized recruit from Ohio about it...I would find that hard to believe. Harbaugh is no different than Meyer, he wants to return Michigan to the top.

OOOH EVERYBODY STOP!

No one is committed to no one. This is what adults have shown kids for years, and now everyone wants to make a big deal about it. If Weber was so committed he would have never taken another visit to anyone. He left and so do coaches. No one seems to be in an uproar about Universities firing coaches before their contracts are up. SO STOP WITH THE ETHICS CLASS!

Take your medicine Weber, you got o ass u at it's best. Urban Legend did his job! As for the Cass Tech Coach, I'm sure he's not hurting.

Oh one more thing.......GO BLUE Weber!

Re: OOOH EVERYBODY STOP!

First of all, people have been saying for years they kids should be allowed to transfer freely when a coach leaves or is fired. So i would say there had been a consistent uproar about that. Second i feel that there is a pretty big difference between you commit to a coach and some time next year he is fired... vs the very next day he leaves voluntarily. One case is a change of circumstances. The other is a bold face lie right to your face.
