Penn State has an exsplosive offence but who have they played:
• Indiana team d rank: 39, no other defense in the top 50, Akron 92, Pitt 107, Georgia State 77, Iowa 70, Northwestern 59. They haven't played a D as athletic/talented as Michigans yet, there O-Line is not elite and I think Mo, Chase and Gary exploit that. Michigan hasnt played an offense as explosive as Penn State but with Don Brown my worries are minimal.
•I do think Penn States D is solid but again tell me who they've played thats had an average at best offense? Nobody in the top 60. (I'm by no means saying Michigan has a good offense either.)
• I like the wrinkles the staff has put into the run that Balas talked about in his film breakdown. Expect more. Harbaugh knows what winning this game could do for this program and will have an improved game plan from previous weeks. The staff is still trying to figure what this offense can do and has to play to JOK strengths.
• This game comes down to JOK. I think we see an improvement this week in the play action pass and he hits it a few times to the TE's in the crossing routes. I'm not expecting he blows us away with his performance I just think he can be coached up enough to be serviceable this week and win the game.
• Special teams will be huge this week like it is every week for this team and we need a punter to step up.
