From what I've seen on The Fort, many folks are pretty bullish about the WR corps this coming year. That kinda puzzled me given the lackluster performance of our WR's last year and the fact that we haven't really had a true deep threat in a very long time (IMO Gallon and Jr Hemingway were both more possession guys, not burners). Why should this year be any different? I guess the OL will probably give the QB more time, but our QB's aren't even proven so that positive is somewhat negated. Should I be more optimistic?
Why are people so optimistic about the WR position?
