the Big Ten champ would be left out of the playoff 3 years in a row?
The Big Ten East is being punished because it's such a competitive division.
Clemson made it in an ultra weak ACC and ND is in without playing in a conference or a championship game. The SEC came a whisker from having two teams in two years in a row with one of them being a two loss team.
Meanwhile OSU is 11-0, UCF is undefeated, We're 10-2, ranked 7th in the nation and sent to the Peach Bowl. Really? The Peach Bowl? I don't get it and I don't like it.
I have no idea how to change things other than open the playoff to more teams but that's not going to happen anytime soon.
