Based on reports from beat writers from the Bay area, including my "adopted" son who has covered the 49ers for a decade, I was told there was no way JH would be at UM unless the Wolverines went pro. And the 3 reporters who told me that are paid. So I guess I'm also one, and very glad to be proven wrong. btw, the reports told me after he joined UM, "well, that's Jim."

I can say this from some of the battles we fought on this board this fall and winter with some UM fans, there a percentage of fans, present VPs of upper tier corporations, recruiting purists, donor-class types, etc. lying in the weeds until Harbaugh trips up. Then they will be back here with a vengeance.
