IU is not gonna beat The Evil Empire, but their QB, Penix (sees somehow so dirty to type his name) was declared on here by someone as “not even an average D-1 QB”.
I found that odd at the tie and said so, and going to continue to give Penix further kudos. He is playing behind a mediocre OL, with decent but far from great “skilled positions.” And yet he is looking quite respectable against a Top 4 team in the country. He will finish with well over 340 yards passing in 3 quarters and about 65% completions (so far). 3TD, 0 INT.**

My point is that Penix is darn accomplished with only moderate talent around him. He throws that accurate “soft touch” ball that seems so successful in college football.
