Oldest brother went there. Dad went to OSU. They both have one thing in common. They hate Michigan. Growing up in an OSU/MSU house breeds a certain kind of hate. I became a Michigan fan in 1969 at the age of 4 (Screw you Woody!!!) and only filled out one college application.
Why does Sparty loathe Michigan? Every Sparty has their "reason". Just ask 'em. The "why I did not go to Michigan reason." The one answer you won't get is, "I didn't get accepted." This game isn't football to them. It justifies their lives. That is why they love Dantoni. He feeds sausage to the Sparty mob. Father Mike leading the mullet people towards relevancy. They need something to feel proud of since their Sparty degree is always viewed as a "Didn't get into Michigan" degree.
