So my buddies and I are coming in for the UCF game next weekend for the game. Obviously we are realists and understand the outcome probably won't be favorable (although we will be loud and supportive anyways), but we couldn't miss the chance to see our team play in one of the greatest cathedrals of college football. Unfortunately playing after a holiday weekend, we were all crunched for time. We will all be arriving late friday evening from different parts of the country, and leaving sunday morning.

Basically we are trying to jam Ann Arbor in to a 36 hour experience, starting basically at 1130 friday night to early Sunday morning. So if you had 36 hours in Ann Arbor what would you do if you were a 25-30 year old visitor?

P.S. Growing up a Dolphins fan my whole life, names like Griese and Mandich are Holy, and names like Ginn Jr. can rot in hell. So buck the ****eyes!!!

I posted the following for another UCF fan, this should give you some choices

Good bars for hanging out and having a drink:
Grizzly Peak Brewing: good food, good beers, pretty chill
Blue Tractor Brewery: Great brews, good BBQ, should be crowded with a mix of ages on a game weekend
Ashley's: Great hole-in-the-wall type bar, awesome beer selection, great beer flights, pretty solid bar food
HopCat: a bit more of a chain restaurant feel (though not like walking into an Applebees or anything). They have somewhere in the range of 150-200 beers on tap, and most are craft beers. Fantastic selection, knowledgeable bartenders, and REALLY good food. I try to get there every time I'm in town.
Arbor Brewing Company: Another brewery. I think their beer is a bit better than Grizzly Peak. Bollywood Blonde is a great, smooth, easy drinking ale.
Good Time Charley's: Pretty cool relaxed sports bar. Could be not quite as relaxed on a game weekend though.

College bars
Scorekeepers: Underage haven, long lines, total college bar feel
Rick's: See above
The Arena: More of a chill college bar feel, but it's typically mostly students in there. I'm also not sure if it will be open, the owner was arrested on tax evasion charges.
The Brown Jug: chill college bar, typically crowded but mostly tables so no dance floor or anything like that
