Where would Walton rank among Michigan point guards over the past 40 or so years? Up until mid-season he would not have been seriously considered on my below list (chronological order):
Rickey Green
Eric Turner
Gary Grant
Rumeal Robinson
Jalen Rose
Darius Morris
Trey Burke
Derrick Walton
As of today he would be in the bottom tier of my list, definitely below Green, Grant, Rose and Burke and probably still below at least a couple of the other three. With a great game tomorrow and strong NCAA touney perhaps he could move up to 5 or 6. What do you all think?
