just to finish that particular series, or perhaps the next one as they continue to monitor him. I realize its easy to arm chair QB after the fact.
But Instead of appearing like "Cade's getting benched because the offense is stalling" spending a few minutes checking him out on the sidelines for a bit, where a backup may potentially provide a spark or a change of pace.

It's unfortunate Alan Bowman isn't ready for such a situation, but playing JJ or even Villari for one series to let Cade's cobwebs clear was an opportunity to change things up without upsetting the apple cart. Just one angle I guess.
