What might be the straw that broke the camel's back regarding following college FB and BB for me

If (most likely still a big if) the hated Spartans somehow win the football NC in the CFP if they get in which they 85% probably in if they beat PSU and then Iowa, and then in the CFP actually win 2 games, that likely will be the straw that may break the camel's back for me.

And its not just that either. It is a buildup up of crap over the years that there becomes a point where this just is not fun anymore.

It is a buildup over the last 17 years that will have brought me to this point.

As if always underachieving under Lloyd Carr in football every year except for 1997 and losing 3-4 games when we should have been 12-1 and finished in the top 4 at least a couple of times.

As if MSU basketball being premiere and super elite with Final Fours and undefeated streaks at home form 1999-2001 and then some more later on while out FB program was only solid and never elite post 1997 was not bad enough.

As if App State was not bad enough

As if MSU not only being so far head and shoulders above us in basketball was not terrible enough in of itself, we were so bad we could not even make the NCAAs for 12 straight years or whatever it was

Then we have the horrendous Rich Rod and Hoke eras while MSU became good in football to take things near the breaking point already for me.

And to put the evil cherry on top of it all, MSU not only becomes good in football, but an NC threat making Dantonio practically a better coach than underachieving Lloyd Carr and if he wins an NC, he would automatically be far better than Carr as bad as it pains me to say it.

The straw that would have broke the camel's back would have been if we had kept Hoke and Brandon which thank god we did not. Harbaugh comes in and give sus the most hope and prmise we ever had.

But if MSU wins the NC after all of the above, that may just do it for me.

Sorry but there comes a point where this is just not fun anymore. How can I enjoy Michigan athletics let alone college FB and BB as a whole when the hated rival MSU is the best program in both FB and BB. After the botched punt that lead to the loss against MSU, I was so upset and swearing and cursing and in tears that it took me a week to recover. After MSU beat OSU and put themselves in a position to the playoffs, I felt almost the same way because of how much I cannot stand them combined with the other crap I have put up with above.

If god forbid MSU somehow wins the NC, that would be the tipping point for me and the straw that break's the camel's back. What should we do??? I can accept that MSU is hear to stay as a good FB program, but them being better than us and if them winning an NC happens is just way too much given all of the above.

I just probably have to stop watching college FB and BB altogether, not just when it comes to Michigan and rooting for them and MSU and wanting them to lose, but college FB and BB all together regarding any team for at least many years. How can I continue to watch it in peace when the program/team I hate so much is so great in both major sports that om;y matter. For my own emotionally well being and psyche, it is probably better that I do not if the unthinkable happens given the crap we have already been through.
