I have been Big Timed a few times.
The best was when I was in Tampa at Mons Venus. Me and a buddy were in town for the Lions/Bucs in 2010. That year Stafford was hurt for much of the season and wasn't playing this Sunday.
I was in line at Mons Venus behind Stafford and a few of his buddies but they looked like team staffers. He had a Tigers hat on backwards, if he didn't have that I wouldn't even have noticed him. He isn't too big and he looked like just a dude.
So, we all get in and after about an hour we happened to pass each other which I commented "Hey Stafford I hope you get healthy quick". He said "Thanks". So I thought for a second should I ask for an autograph.
Well, I did ask him and he looked at me like I told him his Mom was fat. He scoured his eyebrows, put his finger in my chest and said "Who the **** do you think you are?".
I was thrown off and apologized. To say the least I have thought he was an ass ever since.
