First off have been told the spring game Offense was kept plan to not "show" much -- as such it was known the D would have an edge in knowing the plays and they could throw in some "fun" things like the trick plays from Mo and LC.

On Qb's - thought is Shane can be good but he has no / little "touch" - thought is this can be taught and is perhaps a reflection on the past coaching received. Malone will be a good QB (perhaps not a starter) but will be good...Thought Is jake will be the starter and if not it will be because someone else allows them a better chance to win now...They really like Gentry and O'korn so 2016 race will be interesting as both will have a year under their belts

RB - nothing not already known - Smith is the leader but thought is Green and Ty will be good too

WR - still looking for upgrades here via transfer...nothing firm...but the search is on....clearly an issue...maybe some changes over the summer on who is where and why

O line - Coaches are not unhappy with the line -- perhaps not 1997 in talent but thought is they won't suck

D - should be very good and no obvious issues - thought is Lyons will add depth and perhaps won't start -- all will have to earn it

Overall - Harbaugh is what we thought he would be and perhaps even better - culture is turning and players are stepping up...some attrition over the next month or so WILL happen...told nothing major...but those that don't have the desire won't be staying and the current staff is not "sugar coating" playing time projections etc.....All is earned / nothing given
